Client ask
The clients approached me to design their wedding stationery, hoping to incorporate their maroon and white color scheme while maintaining an elegant, timeless feel. Their only requests were invitations and 'thank you' cards.
Concept and approach
The challenge
Although they had a general aesthetic in mind, the clients weren’t sure exactly what they wanted. Beyond the color palette and a sense of style, there was little concrete direction, making it difficult to establish a clear visual path from the start.
Conclusion and findings
The end product
To help define the look and feel, several invitation concepts were developed for the clients to review. By presenting five distinct directions, we were able to gradually refine the style and hone in on the perfect design. Once the invitation was finalized, creating the 'thank you' cards was a seamless process that maintained a cohesive visual identity across all stationery.
