Project overview
Introduction
Bottle Caps are a nostalgic candy originally introduced by The Willy Wonka Candy Company. Inspired by the look and flavor of classic soda pop, each tablet-shaped candy mimics a fizzy bottle cap and comes in soda-inspired flavors like cola, root beer, cherry, grape, and orange. Known for their slightly tangy taste and fun, playful branding, Bottle Caps have been a favorite for decades, blending a sense of whimsy and creativity with the timeless appeal of retro soda-shop treats.



Concept and approach
The goal
The goal was to reimagine the existing Bottle Caps packaging so it would stand out on crowded shelves and better reflect the fun, nostalgic spirit of the candy. With full creative freedom, we had to explore bold visuals and fresh concepts that would make the product feel both playful and modern.



Conclusion and findings
Outcome
The packaging was redesigned with a bold, vibrant green that instantly stands out on the candy aisle. To modernize the concept, the traditional soda flavors were reimagined as fruit soda variations, creating a more diverse and appealing flavor range. The result is a playful, contemporary look that feels fresh and fun while honoring the candy’s nostalgic roots.
